Dragonfly Sake & Sushi is exactly the kind of restaurant that earns its buzz. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. We arrived to find the place buzzing on all cylinders, and honestly, we wondered whether the food could possibly live up to the hype. It absolutely did — and then some. That’s what really sets Dragonfly apart. A lot of hot, trendy restaurants coast on the vibe alone, but the kitchen here is clearly firing on all levels. The sushi was fresh, beautifully crafted, and genuinely impressive. Every roll we ordered was a standout. We had a great experience dining at Dragonfly. It was our anniversary and a birthday celebration, and our server, Sasha, was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We dined at the sushi bar, and the sushi chefs were also incredible, creating delicious plates and making conversation as well.

As a UF alum from 1998, I've wanted to go here for about 15 years and it didnt disappoint! This was one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever eaten at! Its worth the wait! They don't take reservations so get there early. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. The yellowtail was spectacular. The tuna on rice squares was phenomenal! I will be back next time I'm in town! I highly recommend it!

10/10. Everything was delicious. The wagyu carpaccio was out of this world. We ordered the black dragon, smoky dragon and volcano roll and all were amazing. This is one of our top favorite sushi spots. Also in cute part of town. Great place for date night!

Everything was exceptional. We ordered the chef’s selection (the Tanbo), and it was perfect for three people—beautifully curated, incredibly fresh, and a great way to experience a wide range of their best cuts. It even included uni, which was a delicious surprise and added to how special the selection felt. Every piece had amazing flavor and texture. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and modern. Dragonfly is always a memorable sushi experience. Highly recommend.
